Welcome

The Illinois Cochlear Implant Chapter is a local division of the
national Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA).

We are a support group that offers individuals who face a common challenge the opportunity to seek out emotional support and practical help in dealing with a major life change.

We provide an atmosphere of caring, sharing and support in times of need, most importantly during the implant decision process.

Our not for profit group is run by and for its members.

What's Up

ICIC opened new on-line store. Just click on Store or use the link on the left side bar. Proceeds from the store will be used to continue supporting ICIC and its mission.

ICIC wants to involve even more members in the 2010 then we did in 2009. The walk will be held on Saturday, October 16. This will be the 4th walk in Lincoln Park. Come out for a nice fall day and walk around Diversy harbor.

Every year, the chapter participates in the HLAA Walk4Hearing. Want to be a walker? Or contribute to the cause? Click here for Team ICIC or click on the purple logo above.
